If you look up the meaning of "man up," it's "to be brave or tough enough to deal with a difficult or unpleasant situation." Well mothers are the bravest and toughest around. They deal with heaps of difficult and unpleasant situations (dirty diaper explosions, hello?!). Not to mention lack of sleep, lack of self, lack of independence, an ungodly love of tiny dictators, all while trying to raise good humans, have a career, maintain a sex life, and look presentable to the public.
